Details of our self-catering ski and summer apartment in Vaujany
For a ski apartment, both bedrooms are a good size. Bedroom one has two twin beds which can be pushed together. It has a built in wardrobe with plenty of storage and hanging space. Bedroom two has good quality bunk beds which can sleep adults, plus a proper (with legs) pull out guest bed. Again, there is a built in wardrobe and a chest of drawers. There is also a double sofa bed in the living room, so the apartment can sleep 7 people.
There is a bath with a shower and a large heated towel rail.
The kitchen is very well equipped with lots of pots, pans, china and utensils. There is an electric hob, oven, dishwasher, tall standing fridge freezer, kettle, toaster and teapot! New for this year, 2010, we are also providing a slow cooker which is great for preparing stews ready for when you return from skiing.
In the apartment there is TV, DVD and stereo with an IPOD docking station. There is a selection of DVD's which is growing in size each year.
The apartment is very light and airy due to the large french doors which open out onto the huge balcony. The balcony wraps around the whole apartment and faces East and South. You get the morning sun as it rises as well as the last of the afternoon sun. It really does have the most amazing views, looking right down the valley.
In the basement of the apartment there is a large ski locker which is for your sole use. We also have a garage which we allow guests to use in the summer to store their bikes.
We provide all bed linen but please bring your own towels. We can supply these at a small extra cost (5 euros which is payable in resort).
We have a lovely english couple called Pip and Katie who look after our apartment for us. They will meet you to give you the keys and explain how everything works as well as advise on lift passes, restaurants etc. They will ask for a refundable breakage and cleaning deposit.
